Man in critical condition after Frankford shooting

Police are investigating the Saturday shooting where two suspects got away.

A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being followed by two men in the Frankford section of the city and shot.

The victim was walking on the 4900 block of Horrocks Street Saturday, March 24, at 10:44 p.m. when he was approached from behind by two unknown men. He ran east onto the 1200 block of Haworth Street as one offender began to shoot.

The two offenders chased him to his home on the same block of Haworth. During the gunfire, the victim was shot in the abdomen.

He was transported to Temple Hospital in critical condition.

Investigation is ongoing. ••
