Bloomsburg University celebrated more than 100 graduating nursing students with a nursing pinning ceremony. Madison Gardner was one of 105 graduating nurses to be honored. ••

A total of 979 students last week received degrees from East Stroudsburg University. A total of 775 bachelor’s degrees, 203 master’s degrees and one doctoral degree were awarded. Local graduates were Rikita Baah, Regina Boyle, Eric DosSantos, Nerla Fils-Aime, Marcus Guess, Siani Harris, Paul Jean Baptiste, Nadiyah Jordan, Amber Lewis, Lynne McGee, Brandon Teel and Sean Torpey. ••

Jacqueline Hewitt earned a M.Ed. from Concordia University (Nebraska). ••

Jiayi Meng was among 3,512 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Friday and Saturday. Meng earned a degree in education and human sciences. The keynote address was delivered by Tom Osborne, former Nebraska football coach, athletic director and congressman.
