Scenes of the season: The Mayfair Christmas Village and Christmas Tree Lighting took place on Sunday at Frankford and Ryan avenues. The event featured music and craft and artisan vendors.

Avenue Chiropractic collected items for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Santa Claus posed for pictures. Representatives of the Boy and Girl Scouts, who served as grand marshals of the Mayfair Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade, flipped the switch to turn on the tree.
