Winter coats for Spruance kids

Gary Barbera and state Rep. Jared Solomon on Thursday afternoon distributed hundreds of new winter coats to pupils at Gilbert Spruance Elementary School, 6401 Horrocks St.

The outreach was part of Barbera’s Coats for Kids tour, the Barbera Cares Program and the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation.

Barbera said, “It’s a privilege for Barbera Cares to be able to reach out to the community, meet the families and help the children select the coat they want and need. The gratitude and smiles on each child’s face is thanks enough.”
