Hunt still on for suspects in Summerdale abduction

This male robbed the complainant on the 5900 block of Oxford Ave. on March 6.

The Philadelphia Police Department is attempting to locate three male suspects in reference to the abduction of a 48-year-old man on Friday, March 31, at 2:11 a.m. on the 900 block of E. Godfrey Avenue, between Summerdale Avenue and Loretto Avenue.

Police said Wey Um was walking home from his nearby tavern when a black SUV, possibly a newer model Ford Explorer, pulled up next to him. Two males exited the vehicle and forced the man inside at point of gun. The vehicle continued east on Godfrey.

The victim is still missing and there has been no contact with him or the offenders.

The offenders are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the special victims unit at 215-685-3263.
