• Wilkes University Provost David Ward announced the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester. To be named to the list, students must obtain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits. Local members of the list are Abigail Malin and Sean McCurdy.
• Commonwealth University congratulates more than 500 students who graduated during the fall 2023 semester. Among the graduates were Bloomsburg’s Kentavia Baines, Ciani Dejesus, Kyron Long, Kelley McHugh, Kevin Roque and Paola Terreforte and Lock Haven’s Olha Bohun and Caron Warner.
• Katelyn Elizabeth Howarth has been awarded a Master of Education in Instructional Technology/Digital Classroom Technology from Kutztown University, which conferred degrees for 404 students for the 2023 fall semester and 2024 winter session.
• The following local Arcadia students were initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines: Amanda Planita and Quinne Boyle. ••
