Violent robbers target Trevose gas station

Two masked gunmen took part in the holdup at Super Pumper, 2629 Lincoln Highway, at about 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Bensalem Township police on Monday released surveillance video of the violent armed robbery of a gas station attendant in Trevose on May 18.

Two masked gunmen took part in the holdup at Super Pumper, 2629 Lincoln Highway, at about 10:30 p.m. The business is in the U.S. Route 1 commercial strip just north of Poquessing Creek and south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange.

According to police, the robbers accessed the gas station property from the rear, near the Colonial Point Apartments. They also fled toward the rear of the property.

While on site, they stormed the cashier’s booth where an employee was sitting at the register. The crooks pointed guns in the victim’s face and forced him to the ground. They searched his pockets and fled after about 45 seconds.
