Police said Jeremiah Jefferson, 15, was the “spotter” inside Dunkin’ Donuts, alerting the shooters and getaway driver that the intended victim was on site. He’s been charged with Attempt to Commit Murder,  Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy, VUFA-No License, VUFA-On Streets, VUFA-Possession by Minor, PIC, Simple Assault, REAP and Use of Communication Facility.

Earlier this week, Asir Boone, 17, of the 500 block of Manheim St. in Germantown, was arrested in Alexandria, Virginia.

The other three males arrested in connection with the shooting of eight Northeast High School students near the Dunkin’ Donuts have been identified as Ahnile Buggs, 18, of the 1000 block of W. Olney Ave.; Jamaal Tucker, 18, of the 200 block of E. Slocum St. in Mount Airy; and Jermahd Carter, 19, of the 5900 block of Ella St. in Olney.

Those three, along with Boone, have been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and other charges.

A video showed a dark blue 2019 Hyundai Sonata, with tinted windows pulling into the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot, and three masked males exiting the passenger doors. They ran toward a bus stop and fired guns at people waiting to board, then hopped back in the car as the driver raced away.

The victims were seven males and one female, ages 15-17. Seven were admitted to hospitals in stable condition. One, a 16-year-old boy, sustained nine gunshot wounds to the torso and had been in critical condition, but he is recovering.

The bus was struck by gunfire and was taken to the Frankford Transportation Center for investigation. ••
