The school was awarded $5,000.

Big honor: Jeff Gibson, development manager for Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools, and Frank Buzydlowski, Verizon’s director of state government affairs, presented a $5,000 check to St. Christopher Elementary School. The check was accepted by students, principal Mary Tremper and the Rev. Joseph Garvin, the longtime pastor at St. Christopher. State Rep. Martina White was also in attendance.
