State Sen. Jimmy Dillon recently presented a $50,000 check to Christ the King Parish to install air conditioning in the school.
School enrollment director Merideth Haselroth wrote the successful grant proposal. The school’s 170 students attended the check presentation. They were joined by longtime principal Charles Tschopp; the Rev. John Pidgeon, the parochial administrator; and Coco the Cougar. ••
