St. Hubert High School last week dedicated its new courtyard.
The courtyard features a pavilion, benches, chairs, trees, flowers and a Little Library. School president Lizanne Pando said students are invited to study and socialize in the newly renovated space.
There was a fashion show, and the school orchestra entertained the crowd, which included state Sen. Jimmy Dillon.
Principal Gina MacKenzie offered a prayer. Others in attendance included former principals Gerry Laskowski and Joanne Walls (also a former school president).
Senior Krystal Santiago cut the ribbon to open the courtyard. ••
