St. Christopher School students awarded

Head of the class: St. Christopher School in Somerton recently recognized four students as winners of the Josephine C. Connelly Award. The award is a four-year scholarship presented to students who best demonstrate the value of Catholic education and who strive to achieve their fullest academic potential. All four students will attend archdiocesan high schools next fall. Monsignor Joseph Garvin, pastor of St. Christopher Parish, and Mary Tremper, principal of the school, presented the awards to (from left) William Burbage, Emmanuel Polanco, Joseph Parker and Patrick McShea.
