Fall was barely one week old, but a man showed up at a Northeast bank on Sept. 29 as if it was the dead of winter. It was his version of a robbery disguise, authorities say.

It happened at about 8 p.m. at TD Bank, 3930 Woodhaven Road. The crook showed up wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt with a light colored lining and zipper front, black pants and thick black gloves. Investigators think he is in his 30s or 40s, and stands 5 feet, 9 inches, tall with a thin build, light colored eyes and a deep voice.

He handed a demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of currency. Call 215–418–4000 or 215–686-TIPS to report information. ••
