The bandit went to Sunny Cigarettes at 6447 Sackett St. at about 10:30 a.m. with a yellow plastic bag, a clear plastic bottle containing a yellow liquid and a lighter. He placed the bag on the counter, showed the bottle and lighter to a clerk and demanded money. The crook sprayed some of the liquid on the clerk, who realized it was some type of fuel. The employee stuffed an undisclosed amount of cash into the bag.

The robber fled with the bag through the parking lot toward Frankford Avenue. He was described as white, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, with tattoos on his right forearm and neck and missing front teeth. He wore a red Phillies T-shirt, a light blue Phillies cap, black shorts with a red stripe and white shoes. Visit the Philadelphia Police channel on YouTube.com to view surveillance video.
