Police seek gunman who killed Frankford man

An unidentified bandit fatally shot a Frankford man as the victim was walking along Torresdale Avenue with his girlfriend on June 21, police say.

The woman told police that she and Andre Moore, 27, of the 2100 block of Bridge St., were walking southbound on the 5200 block of Torresdale at about 11:44 a.m. when they heard the “pop” of gunfire. They turned to see another man shooting at them.

Moore ran south on Torresdale, then collapsed at Bridge as the assailant continued firing. Moore got up and ran to the 2100 block of Granite St., where police found him lying on a porch. He had wounds of the chest and legs and was pronounced dead at 12:51 p.m. at Aria Health’s Torresdale campus.

The shooter fled westbound on Bridge. He was described as black with a dark complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall, thin, with all black clothes and a black and white bandanna covering his face. ••
