Surveillance photo

A bank robber went with the conspicuously inconspicuous Hunter S. Thompson disguise when he knocked off a Royal Bank branch in Bustleton on May 13. The FBI is hoping that someone will recognize the man in the bucket hat and sunglasses.

The heist occurred at about 9:45 a.m. when the crook handed a demand note to a teller, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area. He was described as Hispanic, in his 20s or early 30s, standing about 5 feet 5 inches with a medium build and a full black beard. He wore a tan bucket hat, dark jacket and blue jeans, as well as dark sunglasses.

The FBI released surveillance images of the suspect. Call 215–418–4000 to report information. ••
