The East Torresdale Civic Association elected its executive board officers and committee chairs for 2016 during the group’s monthly meeting on Dec. 14.
Lew Halas retained the office of president, as did William Kennedy for first vice president, Joseph Drioli for second vice president, Linda Hogan for recording secretary and Justine Bolkus for treasurer.
The additional board members and committee chairs include Jackie Wolf (legislative), Hugh Davis (sergeant-at-arms), Edward Rice (bylaws), Adelaide Martin (education/health and welfare), Joseph Carson (fundraising), Pat Weir (membership/publicity), Allan Babnew (parks/recreation) and Mark Morrison (streets/traffic). Halas and Kennedy co-chair the zoning committee.
The ETCA meets monthly on the second Monday at 7 p.m. at Liberty Evangelical Free Church, Linden Avenue and Milnor Street. Meetings are open to the public and free to attend. Visit easttorresdalecivic.com for information. ••
