The Philadelphia Flyers have officially released their complete 2025-26 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season schedule. The team will play 82 games in total, 41 at home and 41 on the road, in what will be their 58th season. The schedule opens on Thursday, October 9, on the road against the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers – the third straight season the Flyers begin on the road and the sixth time they’ve opened a season against a reigning Stanley Cup winner.
The home opener is scheduled for Monday, October 13, also against Florida, which will be the fifth time the Flyers have hosted the Panthers in their home opener, with Philadelphia holding a 3-1-0 record in those previous matchups.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, Philadelphia will play 15 weekend home games, with 11 scheduled on Saturdays and four on Sundays. October, December, and January each feature seven home games. December also includes a six-game homestand from December 1 to December 13, the team’s longest of the season.
The Flyers will have three four-game road trips during the season: November 24–29, December 14–20, and December 28–January 3. November, December, January, and March each include eight road games, the most in any single month.
Philadelphia will face Metropolitan Division opponents in 26 games, including four games (two home, two road) each against Carolina, the New York Rangers, the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh, and Washington. The team will play Columbus three times (two home, one road) and New Jersey three times (one home, two road).
The Flyers will also play three games against each Atlantic Division team, totaling 24 games:
- Boston Bruins: two home, one road
- Buffalo Sabres: one home, two road
- Detroit Red Wings: one home, two road
- Florida Panthers: one home, two road
- Montreal Canadiens: one home, two road
- Ottawa Senators: two home, one road
- Tampa Bay Lightning: two home, one road
- Toronto Maple Leafs: two home, one road
They will face each Western Conference team twice, once at home and once away, for 32 total games. Of the 15 games Philadelphia plays in December, eight will be against Western Conference opponents.
