With the Super Bowl 2025 almost upon us, it’s time to do what I do every year: Determine the hottest Super Bowl picks and predictions. I aced most bets last year, so let’s see what I can come up with this time around.
Who is favored to win the Super Bowl? What’s a good Super Bowl spread bet, and who will win the MVP? These are just a few of the questions I’ll be answering today.
I’ll also review the top-rated Super Bowl betting sites, where you can claim a bumper welcome bonus and bet on the biggest sporting event of the year. Spoiler alert: My top pick is Bovada for Super Bowl odds!
Let’s get started.
NFL Super Bowl Predictions
Before the NFC championship game, I’ve spent the last few days diving deep into the stats and standout performances of this season. Here are my predictions based on who’s hot and who’s got the momentum as we gear up for the big game.
Super Bowl Props Predictions: Mahomes Over 23.5 Rushing Yards
I love prop bets because it doesn’t matter which team wins or loses – you could still win your bet. Not every sportsbook has released its Super Bowl props just yet, but Bovada is, once again, one of the first.
Personally, I like to place a moneyline bet on the Super Bowl, but I also like to complement it with some props – and if the Kansas City Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl, I like the look of Patrick Mahomes to record over 23.5 rushing yards, which will probably be available at (-120).
In the playoffs, Mahomes has averaged 29.5 rushing yards, which is up by 9 on his regular season average. This suggests to me that, with everything to play for, he is going to run the ball a lot in the Super Bowl.
When it comes to the first touchdown, meanwhile, you can currently bet on Jalen Hurts for the Philadelphia Eagles at (+400). Of course, this price might change depending on who makes the Super Bowl, but locking it in early is a smart idea. Can he score two touchdowns? It’s asking a lot, but I wouldn’t turn it down.
As an alternative, I like the look of James Cook from the Buffalo Bills at (+500).
Best place to place Super Bowl props bets: Bovada
Teams to Make the Super Bowl: Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs
Gotta admit, I was surprised to see the Detroit Lions lose to the Washington Commanders last weekend. But now that the no.6 seed team, the Commanders, made it through that particular battle, I see an easier route to the Super Bowl for the Eagles than if they’d met the Lions.
The Eagles are currently priced at (-250) at BetOnline to make it to the Super Bowl. It’s not a great price, but it’s the best available right now. What’s more, I’d add it to a parlay with the Kansas City Chiefs, who themselves are priced at (-122) on the ML, to see off the Buffalo Bills. The combined odds for this bet are (+155).
Admittedly, that still isn’t a great price. My prediction, then, is that the Eagles will cover the -5 spread (-120), especially since they won’t be playing the Commanders in snowy conditions this time around.
And while the Chiefs will also probably cover the -1 spread set by the bookies, the (-114) odds mean you may as well just stick to the moneyline.
An alternative if you’re feeling brave and want better odds would be to take the Buffalo Bills to meet the Philadelphia Eagles at (+175). I think the Chiefs will go all the way, but if you’re gonna push me, I think the Bills have a better chance of beating them than the Eagles.

Super Bowl MVP Prediction: Patrick Mahomes
Two days ago, I was absolutely certain that Mahomes would win the Super Bowl MVP for a fourth time. What changed? I’m still convinced he’ll win it, though Jayden Daniels’ takedown of the Detroit Lions the other night has turned my head a little.
For me, the money is on Mahomes at (+260). But I totally get why someone would back Daniels at (+650), even if the Commanders don’t make the Super Bowl (and I don’t think they will).
But here’s the thing: Not only is Mahomes the finest quarterback in the NFL, but it’s extremely likely, in my opinion, that the Chiefs will a) make the Super Bowl and b) win it. In that case, how can you ignore someone who has orchestrated so many touchdowns this year?
As an outsider, I like Jalen Hurts (+375), and I admit that the Eagles are the biggest threat to the Chiefs.

Team to Win the Super Bowl: Kansas City Chiefs
No team in NFL history has won the Super Bowl three times on the spin. But can anyone stop Patrick Mahomes and co. from making history? I don’t see it.
The Chiefs have the talent and the coaching to go all the way once again. And the thing is, they’re not even odds-on right now, which means backing them at the best price of (+225) at EveryGame to win the whole thing could be the steal of the year – provided you place this bet before the Super Bowl finalists are decided.
A lot of money is going on the Philadelphia Eagles, who many think will avenge their defeat at the hands of the Chiefs two years ago. And you know what? I get it. Kellen Moore is back, and offensively, they look sharp.
However, at (+275), they’re just too short for me. If I’m backing a team around that price, it’s the Chiefs. Would I back them to cover the Super Bowl spread if they go into the match as favorites? At the end of the day, I would.

Half-Time Show Predictions
Kendrick Lamar has been confirmed as Super Bowl 59’s half-time show. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty to bet on.
As things stand, I do not particularly like the look of the (-300) odds for either Not Like Us or Swimming Pools to be his opening number. I’d sooner go with Humble at (+400) as a solid outside choice. It’s one of his biggest hits, and it was his second-ever US billboard number 1. I can definitely see him leading with it.
That all said, don’t take my word for gospel – I’m not a massive music fan, and I’m getting my info from my nephew. He knows his stuff.
If you don’t fancy your chances with his setlist, SportsBetting.ag is offering (+100) odds on Kendrick dissing Drake during the half-time show. He’s already dissed the Canadian superstar multiple times in the past and may see the Super Bowl as too good an opportunity to pass up.

Best Super Bowl Betting Sites
In order to bet on the Super Bowl, you need to sign up at the best betting sites that have competitive NFL Super Bowl odds. Here are the top 5:
1. Bovada – Best Super Bowl Betting Site Overall
Pros:
- 75% up to $750 welcome bonus
- Unique Props Builder tool
- Reduced juice offer
- Excellent rewards program with great prizes
- NFL weekly specials
Cons:
- Late betting lines
- Homepage is a bit cluttered
Bovada is my top pick for Super Bowl betting this year. Not only does it offer the best odds, it also has some of the best specials I’ve seen. These include each of the 2 finalists to score a touchdown, 4+ touchdowns combined, and a heap of player-specific bets.
You can get started with a 75% up to $750 welcome bonus, which means you’ll get $100 worth of bonus funds for the Super Bowl if you deposit $75. The minimum deposit for this offer is $20.
You can then bet on the MVP, with Bovada offering Josh Allen at (+235), while other bets include Coach of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year. Chiefs are currently priced as the (+225) favorites – they have the best odds to win the Super Bowl.
Bovada has an in-depth Props Builder tool that lets you explore the team, game, and player props market, thereby giving you more choice over how you bet.
And while there’s no reload bonus here, Bovada makes up for it with a 200% up to $200 referral bonus. You’ll also earn reward points anytime you bet on the NFL or any other sport, with more points given out for parlays.

2. BetOnline – Best Super Bowl Betting Site for Parlays
Pros:
- $250 worth of bonus bets
- Same game parlays
- Parlay boosts
- Early lines for various sports
- Hosts exciting NFL betting contests
Cons:
- No alternative lines
- Fees on fiat payouts
BetOnline is a solid choice for NFL parlay betting. Throughout the regular season and into the Wild Card Weekend and beyond, you can take advantage of parlay boosts, pre-selected parlays that come with enhanced odds – and same-game parlays.
I’m personally partial to placing the same game parlays, which, for me, is the best way to bet on the Super Bowl. At BetOnline, you can mix and match your picks, adding player specials to the same bet as a moneyline pick.
A slight drawback is that BetOnline doesn’t offer alternative lines, which doesn’t give you much wiggle room if you want to place a spread bet or a total bet. However, you can turn your bets into teasers and bets here.
You can also enter betting contests, including a $25,000 NFL Pick’em contest and a $200,000 NFL Mega Contest. Some of these contests require a fee, but many are free to enter.
Before any of that, you can claim $250 worth of bonus bets as a new player here, with the minimum deposit set at $50.

3. BetWhale – Best Bonuses of all Super Bowl Betting Sites
Pros:
- 150% welcome bonus
- Cashback for loyal players
- High bet limits
- Mobile-friendly sportsbook
- 24/7 customer support
Cons:
- High minimum withdrawal
- No props
If you’re planning to be a regular NFL bettor online, BetWhale’s loyalty program is one of the best ways to make your wagers count for something over the long term. The more you deposit and bet, the more you’ll get rewarded.
I’ve tested this site extensively, and its loyalty program is one of the easiest to join. Once you’re in, you’ll be treated to regular cashback and a range of exclusive bonuses that make you feel welcome.
When it comes to betting on the Super Bowl, you can place moneyline, handicap, and total bets, as well as explore alternative lines. You can bet pre-game and in-play, as well as turn your bets into parlays.
BetWhale – which has high bet limits – also gives you the option of placing Round Robin bets, which come in handy during the regular NFL season. A lack of props might be an issue for some bettors. But if you’re the kind of NFL bettor who prefers to stick to traditional markets, BetWhale has everything you need.

4. EveryGame – Best Sportsbook for Super Bowl Futures Bets
Pros:
- $1,000 welcome bonus
- Huge range of NFL futures bets
- Game props available for the Super Bowl
- 30+ years experience
- Weekly betting contests
Cons:
- Limited withdrawal methods
- No same game parlays
EveryGame is one of the world’s oldest online sportsbooks. With more than 30 years of experience, it’s no wonder that NFL bettors like myself trust it with their Super Bowl bets.
I could lock in Josh Allen to win the MVP at the best price I’ve seen (+255), while prior to the Super Bowl itself, there are always excellent odds available here for Conference winners.
Even better, this online gambling site releases its futures odds super early, giving you enough time to place your bets before the price changes.
A range of interesting game props are offered here, too, including total touchdowns scored in the Super Bowl, the highest-scoring quarter, and whether or not there’ll be a score in the final 2 minutes of the first half.
You can do what I did and claim a $500 welcome bonus if you’re playing with fiat currency, or you can opt-in to a bigger $1,000 welcome bonus if you’re playing with crypto.

- $100 risk-free live bet

- Weekly reload bonuses
- 25+ years experience
Cons:
- Can’t withdraw via credit card
- No VIP program
There’s no doubt that I’ll be betting on the Super Bowl in play. And from what I’ve seen, SportsBetting.ag has all the tools needed for a top Super Bowl live betting experience.
New players can get a 50% up to $500 welcome bonus, but the real standout is the $100 risk-free live bet you can place on the Super Bowl. To claim it, you need to place an initial $100 bet in play. If it loses, you’ll get a second chance.
There’s also a $100 risk-free player prop bet up for grabs here, which can also be used on the Super Bowl. In terms of the live betting odds, you can bet on the moneyline, the point spread, and the totals in-play, with SportsBetting.ag also offering competitive odds for each quarter and half.

Fun fact: SportsBetting.ag is also one of the best sites for sports betting in California!
If there’s a downside, it’s that there is no VIP or loyalty program here. You can, however, claim regular reload bonuses each week, which is a great way of staying in the game.
