Frankford woman shot and killed

Police say an argument motivated a shooting early Sunday in a Frankford street that claimed the life of a 32-year-old woman.

Gunfire erupted at about 2:45 a.m. on the 4700 block of Griscom St., leaving Kia Boyd, 32, of the 5500 block of Miriam Road, with fatal wounds of the neck and torso, said Officer Jillian Russell, a Philadelphia police spokeswoman.
