Benefit hockey game this Saturday

A benefit hockey game will take place on Saturday at the Cavity Busters Flyers Skate Zone for a 6-year-old Parkwood boy.

Thomas Luke Schaffer, a first-grader at St. Anselm Elementary School, has cystic fibrosis and is in need of a liver transplant.

The fund-raiser will begin at 4:20 p.m., with a game between the Philadelphia Police Department hockey team and the Philadelphia Honor, a women’s squad.

Afterward, there will be a block party with games and food.

The Flyers Skate Zone is located at 10990 Decatur Road.

Tickets cost $10 for each event.

Donations can be sent to Freedom Credit Union, 10400 Drummond Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
