The Holme Circle Civic Association will elect new executive board officers during the group’s next monthly meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Nominations are now being accepted for all positions, including president, vice president, recording secretary, treasurer and corresponding secretary. Nominees must be HCCA members in good standing. Several nominees were named at the most recent civic meeting on Oct. 24 and included Elsie Stevens (president), Mike Gould (vice president), Betty Brown (recording secretary), Tom McCurdy (treasurer) and Kristin Moore (corresponding secretary). McCurdy is the only standing office-holder.
HCCA board member Joe Razler also reported that the civic group’s recent membership drive has yielded results. The group welcomed four new members at the Oct. 24 meeting, which about 30 people attended.
The next meeting will be held at the St. Jerome’s School library, Stamford and Colfax streets, at 7 p.m. Additional nominations will be accepted at the meeting.
Only members in good standing will be eligible to vote, but the meeting is open to the public. ••
