Police probe three separate shootings

Officers investigating a report of a person with a gun near the 500 block of Cheltenham Ave. Saturday night found a 14-year-old girl shot once in a leg and once in her chest behind a home on the 500 block of Rosalie St.

Officers rushed the girl to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she remains in stable condition, police said Tuesday.

There have been no arrests.

A teenager was found shot in Frankford on Friday, police said Monday.

Police investigating reports of gunshots on the 5200 block of Hawthorne St. at 9:31 p.m. found the 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Police said the teen was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children where he was reported in critical, but stable, condition.

A 19-year-old man was found shot and critically wounded late Thursday near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, police said Friday.

Officers called to the area at 10:40 p.m. found the victim in a driveway behind homes on Revere Street with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Aria Health’s Torresdale campus, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was arrested for the shooting, but the victim was placed under arrest because he had a handgun on him when found, police said. An investigation is continuing. ••
