About 375 students took part in the event, organized by the 80 senior members of the school’s NHS chapter. The committee chairwoman was senior Lauren Blair, and teacher Andrea Seitchik assisted in her role as the NHS adviser.

Money was raised by contributions and T-shirt sales, and donated to Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Mobile Mammography Unit.

Wanda Ford, who works in Fox Chase’s special events/fundraising department, visited the school to accept the check. She met the students, Seitchik and principal Gene Jones. ••
