Color guard to appear at hockey game
The newly reconstituted Color Guard of the Cpl. John Loudenslager American Legion Post 366 will take part in the opening ceremony at the Wells Fargo Center when the Adirondack Phantoms ice hockey team makes its return to Philly to face the Hershey Bears on Saturday, Feb. 1. Face off is at 1 p.m.
In conjunction with the game, Post 366 has organized a group trip to the Wells Fargo Center. The cost is $18 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and under and includes game tickets in Section 108. Round trip bus transportation may be included depending on the level of interest.
After the game, hockey fans are welcome to visit Post 366 at 7976 Oxford Ave. and watch the Flyers take on the L.A. Kings. The post will offer food and drink specials.

Skin art convention set for Friday
The 16th annual Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention will take place this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, at 1101 Arch St.
The convention hours will be 2 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $22 per day, or $45 for the weekend. Children under 12 will be admitted free.
The event will feature 800 tattoo artists, tattoo contests and appearances from the stars of tattoo shows on television. ••
Looking home to history
Pennypacker Mills, at 5 Haldeman Road in Schwenksville, Montgomery County, will host a free program on Sunday afternoon to help people enhance the historical elements in their houses.
The event will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how to decorate homes to complement their architectural style. Refreshments will be served.
