Bank robbery suspect sought

Philadelphia police and the FBI are trying to identify the man who robbed a Northeast bank last Thursday afternoon.

The robber arrived at PNC Bank, 2401 Welsh Road, at about 2:45 p.m., handed a threatening demand note to a teller, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled, authorities said. He was last seen traveling east on Welsh Road.

He was described as white, in his 30s, 6 feet tall and thin with a mustache, beard, gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and tattoos on the right side of his neck. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPDTIP to report information. ••
