Philadelphia police have released surveillance video of an armed robbery at a Northwood pizza parlor.
The holdup occurred on Sept. 15 at about 11:10 p.m. at George’s Pizza, 5355 Oxford Ave., and involved two hooded gunmen. One of the intruders forced an employee to lie on the floor while the other raided the cash register for an undisclosed amount of cash. The hoodlums were last seen fleeing northbound on Oxford toward Roosevelt Boulevard.
Police described one robber as black, 20 years old, 6 feet tall with a large build, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red and black shoes. The other robber was described as black, 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
