Handsome Harry
Harry is a handsome, 3- to 5-year-old, 49-pound male Terrier mix who was found roaming the streets of Philadelphia. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.
The dog was in rough shape, and his best volunteer friend gives him baths and puts coconut oil on his back, and Harry’s skin already looks better.
Harry is a pretty cool, adorable little guy who has done great with dogs his size (and bigger). He walks pretty good on his leash, takes treats nicely and enjoys his little face being pet. He does not like cats.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Mirabella is magnificent
Mirabella is young, friendly, playful, cute and cuddly.
The 3-month-old cat has a lot of youthful energy, but was scared at her former shelter, Now, she is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
Mirabella is happy and is looking for a family to adopt her. She is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
