State Rep. Jason Dawkins will sponsor Frankford Community Day and Gospel Concert Series on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gambrel Playground, 1900 Wakeling St.
The day will include a book bag and school supply giveaway, basketball tournament, exhibition youth football game, carnival games, dunk tank, moonbounces, water slides, video games and a double dutch competition.

There will also be food, live music and entertainment. Representatives from city, state and federal agencies and nonprofit organizations will be in attendance.
