A business manager at St. Dominic Parish allegedly embezzled funds from the church.
Police are investigating a matter of embezzled funds at a local church.
An official from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia confirmed that a business manager at St. Dominic Parish, 8504 Frankford Ave., allegedly embezzled an undisclosed amount of funds from the church.
The official said the matter was discovered by the pastor of the parish and reported to law enforcement immediately. Both the parish and the Archdiocese are cooperating fully with law enforcement.
The business manager is no longer serving at the parish.
