Pets of the Week: April 11, 2018

Harriet and Sammy are looking for homes.

Harriet

Harriet, the “foster pirate,” is an amazing pit bull mix who is about 2 to 3 years old and 54 pounds.

She is crate and house trained and loves other dogs.

Harriet came to the shelter with a BB bullet in her eye. The eye was just removed, and Harriet is no longer in pain. She will wiggle her butt like crazy when you pet her and give lots of love.

To meet Harriet, email aliswiski@hotmail.com ••

Sammy

Sammy is a love and likes to talk. He loves to be pet and will groom whomever is petting him. He also likes to give hugs and will sit on your shoulder if you let him. Sammy would do best with other low-key cats. He is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

Sammy, 3, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
