Friends of Poquessing Watershed clean up Byberry Creek

The Friends of Poquessing Watershed on Saturday held a cleanup at Chesterfield Road and Berea Street along Byberry Creek.

Twelve volunteers turned out to collect 21 bags of trash, two shopping carts, a car battery, two lawn chairs, a rug and vinyl siding.

The volunteers were Rich Glaser, Eric Rosario, Tommy and Connor McDowell, John Broscius, Andrew Blaney, Jill Vorgity, Inez Pagan, Dominic Brennan, Joe Hendershot, Hans Brolinson and Jeanne Capone.

Friends of Poquessing Watershed runs cleanups at various locations in the watershed on the second Saturday of every month.
