On Tuesday, Oct. 2, Nazareth Hospital will continue its Dine with the Docs community question-and-answer series with a discussion about breast health.
At the free event, participants will hear from Dr. Karen Kish, breast surgeon at Nazareth Hospital. The event will include a complimentary meal.
By performing self-examinations a few times per month, women can monitor their breast sensitivities and textures during their menstrual cycles. Women can also ensure proper breast health by learning about common screenings and tests, such as mammograms and ultrasounds. Kish will discuss these preventive measures, as well as additional ways to maintain breast health.
The event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Nazareth Hospital’s DiBello Conference Room, located at 2601 Holme Ave. Registration is required for this event. To register, or for more information, call 215–335–6100 or visit www.mercyhealth.org ••
