Police investigating Crescentville robbery

A man entered a Jomar store and handed the cashier a threatening note, police said.

Police are looking for a man who allegedly threatened an employee during a robbery Nov. 1 at a store in Crescentville.

Authorities said the suspect, a black man, entered the Jomar store at 5300 Whitaker Ave. around 12:40 p.m. and handed a female cashier a note reading: “I have a gun and hand over the money.” The man took an undisclosed amount of money and left the store.

Anyone who has information about the suspect or this robbery is asked to call Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153/3154. ••
