Two shot Friday morning in Frankford

Police are investigating after a Frankford shooting left a woman in critical condition and injured a man.

A woman was in critical condition and a man was injured after a shooting early Friday morning in Frankford, according to police.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Harrison Street around 5 a.m. and found a 19-year-old woman with gunshot wounds the left thigh. A 29-year-old man was also shot in the right hip, police said.

Police transported the woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition Friday morning. The man was also taken to Temple and was in stable condition, according to police.

Northeast Detectives are investigating the shooting. Officers did not recover a weapon at the scene, and no arrests have been made. ••
