Police looking for man who robbed Levick Street dollar store

A man made off with cash after handing a threatening note to a cashier at a dollar store near Oxford Avenue and Levick Street, police said.

Police are looking for a man who robbed a dollar store Wednesday, Feb. 6, on Levick Street near Oxford Avenue.

Authorities said a black man entered the Dollar General at 919 Levick St. around 8:30 p.m. and reportedly handed the 19-year-old cashier a note that said: “This is a robbery give me everything in the register right now don’t make no noise.”

The man fled the scene after the employee gave him an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
