The nonprofit Glen Foerd on the Delaware, 5001 Grant Ave., seeks a new executive director to preserve and enhance the historic Glen Foerd estate while engaging the community through creative and environmental programs.
Meg Sharp Walton, the executive director since 2011, left last month to accept a position as executive director of the Monmouth County Historical Association in New Jersey.
In cooperation with the city Department of Parks & Recreation, Glen Foerd stewards the estate’s 18 acres of land, at the confluence of the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River, and historic buildings while working with local artists and innovators to provide public programs and events.
The grounds are open to the public from dawn to dusk.
