Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a Bustleton bank at gunpoint on Friday morning.
A masked man entered the Firstrust Bank at 9309 Krewstown Road around 11:45 a.m. and pulled out a black revolver, according to police. He showed the gun to the teller and demanded money, authorities said.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bank and entered the passenger’s side of a vehicle, police said. The car is described as a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows and chrome trim between the windows. It was last seen traveling through the parking lot and heading north on Krewstown Road toward Grant Avenue, authorities said.
Police described the suspect as a white man in his mid-20s between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, a light-colored winter hat, black sunglasses and gloves, according to authorities.
The man is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about him or the robbery is asked to call the FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force at 215-418-4000.
