Police said a 25-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were inside a car around 9:15 p.m. when they were approached by the impersonators. The suspects used zip ties to bind their hands and put the woman in another car, according to authorities.

The impersonators fled the scene with the woman and later dropped her off in front of the 15th Police District at Harbison Avenue and Levick Street, police said. The 24-year-old man was left tied up at the scene.

Neither of the victims were injured, authorities said.

The Northeast Detective Division is investigating the incident, and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday. ••
