Oxford Circle man killed in West Philly road rage shooting

Authorities are looking for a vehicle in connection to the fatal shooting of an Oxford Circle man Friday morning in West Philadelphia.

An Oxford Circle man was fatally shot Friday morning in a road rage incident in West Philadelphia, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding his killer.

Shaquil Mack, 25, of the 1200 block of Van Kirk Street, was shot around 9:14 a.m. at 52nd and Warren streets, police said. Officers took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he died at 9:51 a.m.

Authorities said the shooter was inside an early to mid-2000s dark blue Chrysler 300. The car was last seen on Girard Avenue near 54th Street, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s with dreadlocks or braided hair, according to police. A second person was also inside the car, but authorities did not have a description.

The Chrysler has black tinted windows, a dent on the rear passenger’s side wheel well, and moulding is missing from the rear passenger’s side door.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Police said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
