Teenage girl reported missing in Frankford

Alanis Negron, 16, was last seen Friday afternoon on the 1700 block of Wakeling Street, police said.

Update (April 3): Police said Wednesday, April 3, that Alanis Negron, 16, has been located and is no longer missing. 

Authorities are on the lookout for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing after last being seen Friday afternoon in Frankford.

Alanis Negron, who is known to have depression and anxiety, was last seen around 3 p.m. on the 1700 block of Wakeling Street, police said.

Authorities described her as a 5-foot 1-inch female who weighs around 100 pounds. Negron has a thin build, light complexion, brown eyes and straight brown hair below her shoulders. She was last spotted wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants, police said.

Anyone with any information on Negron’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153. ••
