American Water Resources made a presentation at last week’s meeting of the Take Back Your Neighborhood civic association.
The company is a repair service that offers water and sewer service line protection to Philadelphia residents for $7.98 a month, which is $95.76 per year. The coverage is unlimited, and there is no service fee.
Representatives of the company welcomed residents to check their homeowners policies to see if they are already covered.
The coverage is offered in partnership with the Philadelphia Energy Authority.
