Police have released a photo and surveillance footage from a Frankford double shooting in an attempt to catch the perpetrators.
A 33-year-old man and his 12-year-old son were shot Monday, April 22, outside their home on the 5200 block of Marlowe Street. The family arrived home just after 9:30 p.m. and saw two men who had broken in through the rear door window.
The burglars opened fire on the father, who ran out the back door as the suspects continued shooting, according to police. He was shot multiple times, and his son suffered a graze wound.
Police said both suspects were spotted exiting a van before the shooting.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects is asked to call Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153/3154. All tips will be confidential. ••
