Little Flower seniors master St. Joe’s investment challenge

Little Flower High School seniors Caitlin Allen and Miranda Lesher took top honors at the St. Joseph’s University Investment Challenge.

They won a $5,000 prize for their efforts, a $5,000 scholarship for Little Flower and a $1,000 prize for Mr. Tim McCartney and the business classes.

“These girls were amazing. I have not seen college students with this level of preparation,” said Dr. Joseph DiAngelo, the Dean of the St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business.

Allen and Lesher competed against 159 teams across the Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese that began the competition and the final seven who were invited to present. ••
