Ted Danson coming to Wizard World

Wizard World Philadelphia will welcome Ted Danson on Sunday, June 16, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Danson, best known as Sam Malone in Cheers, stars in the NBC series The Good Place. He will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photos and be part of a question-and-answer panel.

Other credits include CBS’ long-running CSI and Becker.

In film, Danson has starred in Three Men and a Baby and Saving Private Ryan.

Wizard World Philadelphia will also feature some of the world’s most talented artists and authors, along with non-stop live entertainment hosted by Kato Kaelin, gaming and movie screenings.

Wizard World events bring together fans of all ages to celebrate the best in movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more.

Wizard World Philadelphia is also the place for cosplay, with fans showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character will roam the convention floor and participate in a costume contest on June 15.

Philadelphia show hours are Thursday, June 13, 4-9 p.m.; Friday, June 14, noon-7 p.m.; Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday, June 16, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
