Two people were shot and a man was stabbed in separate incidents Monday evening in Tacony.
Officers responded to the 7000 block of Charles Street just before 6 p.m. and found a 52-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man who had been shot. The woman was shot in the back, and the man was hit in the left arm and suffered a graze wound to his head, police said.
Both victims were taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
About an hour later, a 49-year-old man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Boston Market at Cottman and Torresdale avenues. He was stabbed in the left arm and transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he is in stable condition, police said.
Officers recovered a weapon at the scene, and police described the suspect in the stabbing as a white man in his mid-20s or 30s with facial hair who was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
Both incidents are being actively investigated by Northeast Detectives. ••
