Burholme monument ready for Memorial Day ceremony, thanks to Home Depot and Boy Scouts

Take Back Your Neighborhood is thanking Home Depot for providing flower barrels and supplies to beautify the Burholme World War I monument in time for Memorial Day.

Home Depot’s community outreach provider, Justin McKinstry, arranged the delivery of supplies.

The civic group also thanks the leaders of Boy Scout Troop 160, who assisted in the project. The Scouts marched from the Philadelphia Protestant Home to Jardel Recreation Center to Five Points on Memorial Day. ••
