A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times early Thursday morning in Frankford, police said.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Wakeling Street around 12:30 a.m. for a report of gunshots. The victim showed up at Jefferson Frankford Hospital with gunshot wounds to his neck, left thigh, chest and left shoulder, authorities said.
No weapon was recovered at the scene, and no arrests have been made as of Tuesday. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives. ••
