A 36-year-old man was fatally shot early Friday morning outside his house on the 4700 block of Hartel Avenue in Holmesburg, authorities said.
Officers responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. and found Aaron Riley with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body. Riley was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said he was returning home from work when he was shot in the rear driveway, according to multiple media reports.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday. Homicide detectives are actively investigating the shooting. ••
