Frankford man killed inside car

Edward Kellam, 27, died after being shot multiple times Wednesday night in East Frankford, authorities said.

A man was shot and killed Wednesday night inside a minivan outside his home on the 5100 block of Tulip Street in East Frankford, police said.

Edward Kellam, 27, was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a red Chrysler Pacifica by officers responding to a report of a shooting around 10 p.m., authorities said. He was shot multiple times, and the officers transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he died at 10:37 p.m., according to police. 

No weapon was recovered, and no arrest has been made as of Tuesday. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Homicide Unit. ••
